What is 3DWaves

3DW is a two person operation run by a husband and wife team. Emily and Jason make everything at their small workshop located in Corpus Christi Texas. This mini-factory is home to their 3D printer farm, CNC, woodworking tools and shipping / packing area.

Benefits of 3D Printing As A Method of Manufacturing

There are many benefits to 3D Printing over other traditional manufacturing methods. For us, the main benefit of utilizing 3DP technology is that we are able to offer low volume parts at an affordable price. Most of our items are semi-custom designs that are fine tuned to particular instruments and are offered in many colors and variations. Since our items are customized to particular instruments and situations, using traditional manufacturing methods like injection molding would be uneconomical because they require high volume runs and a large investment to produce. Instead, we focus on making products that these areas of manufacturing can not make due to lower volume demands.
