Arturia did something really clever by making the module on the MicroFreak removable, all you have to do is unscrew 8 screws from the bottom the body.

The only downside to removing the keyboard is that the electronics are exposed and the PCB board serves as the base. That's where the Nano Bod comes in. Using the 8 screws from before, the Nano Bod attaches to your MicroFreak which will help keep dust out and provide a solid footing for your new module.
